There must be an explanation to the fact that most intelligent people have high sexual drive but the irony is they engage less in sex. History has it that Tesla, Cavendish and Newton had less sex.
According to one science blog, Medical Daily, “new research by sex toy retailer, Lovehoney, found a correlation between high sexual libido and elevated intelligence,” however that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re having more sex.
Many intelligent people has high sex drive but have less sex, may be they are too pre-occupied with fulfilling purpose and achieving a goal that they give up their sexual pleasure to deliver on success. They are most time focused on learning new skill or solving a problem to the point they are may not able to be 101% committed to their sexual partner.
It not that this is really great, we all need to aspire for balance in our life. I am just curious that many intelligent people in history are not people who love random and frequent sex.
Using the 2011 National Survey of Family Growth in the United Kingdom, Friedman reveals “men with college degrees are half as likely to have had four or more partners in the last year as men with a high school education alone.” According to Carolyn Halpern, who teaches at the UNC School of Public Health, “a high concentration of teen virgins [were] at the top of the intelligence scale.”
The high performing young people in high school were most times not yet sexually active this may not necessarily mean that this translate to intelligence but one thing I want to note is sex has to do with emotions, for the inactive teen he or she has a focused attention devoid of distraction. The active person has image distractions of sexual encounters he or she has most time even when reading. He or she trying to compare the best sexual experience he had with several sexual partner and if they are in a relationship they are emotionally attached to their girlfriend or boyfriend.
While certain types of people seem to be naturally drawn to the idea of producing offspring and engaging in sexual encounters, others are more concerned with refining their own skills.
It seems like this might be the tradeoff that intelligent people make when they decide to focus on specializing some aspect of their own being — whether it’s inventing, like Tesla — or mastering laws of physics like Sir Isaac Newton.
My mind tells me that intelligent people like Tesla, Newton and Cavendish were simply too preoccupied with other aspects of their life to be worried about sex.
Most innovator and creatives are very emotional, to be creative there is natural flow of empathy to solve user’s problem. This makes the innovator the best to be in relationship. Spouses to creatives, innovators, and persons with high IQ must understand them properly to be able manage them when they want to concentrate and when they want to concentrate on an idea.
My advice when you get into relation with an intelligent, creative and innovative person please take note it is not a normal relationship, you chose this person because you want to change the world with them, you believed in their vision, dreams and aspirations before you got into a relationship with them, then kindly help be the best spouse you can always be. Many creatives are depressed and emotionally stressed because they are fighting criticism inside and outside, you are the shock absolver, you must be a whole positive vibe and a self-motivated person that always see positivity in all negatives.
When the creatives achieve a goal, they will always want to have the best time with you, they will do anything you want them to. We love to have sex and sex is good for us to stay mentally alert. So, bring it on, we love it crispy, fresh and new but not every day.
Finally, the fact you like random sex does not mean you are not intelligent. But, for now, if you’re not having much sex — let’s just say you are an intelligent genius and leave it at that.
