Why do you give money in church? What is your motive for giving that token in your pocket? What should be our attitude to giving? Is God really in need of our money? What does the scripture say about giving? Will God accept tithes and offering from the big brother house mate?

These and many more questions cross the highway of my heart. Man now gives God money to receive back abundance, forgetting that God cannot be mocked. We see God as a business man who wants to sell Grace, Love, Prosperity, etcetera. To access all this we “need” to give to God.

We come to the place of worship with a bad and rotten heart, a corrupt soul, a filthy hand and bloody hand to give millions expecting God to accept our splendid sacrifice from us as offering.

Jesus said to the widow with the coin that she gave more than those who gave plenty. Jesus was not looking at the currency in her hand, but her heart of giving. She gave her all sacrificially and not also expecting God to pay back.

Many of our giving are bribes not offering. We give so that we can access something from God. We give because if we don’t the church will lack, or we will be sick, poor, or die. Why do we reverend the gift than the giver.

Reader, let me shock you, God does not NEED your money, He needs your LIFE. He want you to give your heart, because your heart is your first offering. Present your body as holy sacrifice says the scriptures. If you offer your life like Abel, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, then nothing will be too small to give.

Pastors, My God is not a beggar, please stop begging and cajoling people to give in church.

God does not receive bribe, stop paying bribe, from today start giving tithes and offering.

37d4a1ee246f9c6ce0fd42d4cb2d88c6The cross is now a worldwide brand. It is used in the hospital, mortuary, on jewelries, tattooed on the body, obituary, and so on. I heard there is a cross in every illuminati temple, a new convert has to cross over and spit on the cross at initiation into the illuminati cult.

What exactly does the cross signify to you? Is the cross just another symbol? Is it another comic sign on handbills, billboard or poster?

Jesus said as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, surely the son of man must also be lifted up. Why did Jesus have to compare his death with this event in the Old Testament?

The Israelites were bitten by venomous snake in the wilderness; it caused the death of so many of them, Moses has to cry out to the Lord for help. God reply was Moses making a brazen snake and hanging on the pole. The Illogical solution was whosoever look upon it will live. Just LOOK and LIVE. No drug, no vaccine and so on. Many did not believe. They asked, what is the connection between looking at a lifeless art work and the venom of the serpent? They died but the few that obey ABSOLUTELY, lived. There is nothing like half-obedience, there is only obedience and disobedience. Obedience is always better than sacrifice. The few that believed and looked had life.

In the same way God came in flesh(JESUS), was hanged on a cross that whosoever believe in his death and resurrection as the Savior and Lord should not perish(die). Death here is the eternal death. Yes, it may be absurd, illogical and foolish to believe in the death of Jesus and live forever. The bible says in 1 Cor 1 : 18(AMP): for the message of the CROSS is FOOLISHNESS to those who are perishing…but to those(us) who are being saved(by God’s GRACE) it is the power of God.  The cross is the bridge between our OLD MAN and NEW MAN of the SPIRIT.

The cross is the place of exchange, sacrifice and atonement. It is the POWER OF GOD.  It is the place of pain, suffering, shame, reproach, curse, and death, but more than this it is the bridge to our(Christian) victory, eternity, prosperity, blessing, joy, peace, and essence of our life in Christ.  The bible says he made a public show of them ALL. What is this all? All your burden, agony, shame, sadness, reproach, bitterness, anger, the flesh, death, and SIN. He made a public show of them. One spiritual hymnal said; Death where is thy sting?

I invite you to live this life with us, a life of great joy. The scripture says; how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation?  Jesus loves you so much that he gave himself in your place. He wants to show you his unconditional love.  The cross is never just a symbol; it is the true POWER OF GOD.

Mirror on the wall, here we are again through my rise and fall you’ve been my only friend, you told me that they can’t understand the man I am-Lil Wayne

When you look up yourself in the mirror (Mirror in this post will most times mean your Mind imagination) what do you see? How do you perceive yourself? What you see is what you become. Whatever you cannot see, you can never become.

One of the most important and hardest exercises I have engaged is helping me see beyond now to when I will be 30, 40, and 50. It is an exercise that only a few engage in. It requires stressing your mind and extreme focus.

Rewind to 2008/09, I saw myself as dejected, lost, and purposeless boy. I almost lost my self-esteem. I was hard-hearted, left with little emotion and stern. You want to know more ask my mum. Her knee on the ground and face to hill did some wonders.

Fast forward to 2017, I see myself differently. I see from a different point now. Negativity cannot have a little space in my heart. I am an incurable optimist. I live in abundance of joy. I also see myself in the light of the ‘”MIRROR” of the Word every day.

You cannot change anything until you change your thinking- Akinnike Michael

Are you poor? Your shoes might be broken but believe me your mind is a palace. You can be the best, but it start from the ‘”MIRROR” of your mind, then to the MIRROR of your room, and finally the reflection of these two MIRRORS in your real life as a reality. You are the change the world is waiting for, launch out and soon I will celebrate you.
