The cross is now a worldwide brand. It is used in the hospital, mortuary, on jewelries, tattooed on the body, obituary, and so on. I heard there is a cross in every illuminati temple, a new convert has to cross over and spit on the cross at initiation into the illuminati cult.
What exactly does the cross signify to you? Is the cross just another symbol? Is it another comic sign on handbills, billboard or poster?
Jesus said as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, surely the son of man must also be lifted up. Why did Jesus have to compare his death with this event in the Old Testament?
The Israelites were bitten by venomous snake in the wilderness; it caused the death of so many of them, Moses has to cry out to the Lord for help. God reply was Moses making a brazen snake and hanging on the pole. The Illogical solution was whosoever look upon it will live. Just LOOK and LIVE. No drug, no vaccine and so on. Many did not believe. They asked, what is the connection between looking at a lifeless art work and the venom of the serpent? They died but the few that obey ABSOLUTELY, lived. There is nothing like half-obedience, there is only obedience and disobedience. Obedience is always better than sacrifice. The few that believed and looked had life.
In the same way God came in flesh(JESUS), was hanged on a cross that whosoever believe in his death and resurrection as the Savior and Lord should not perish(die). Death here is the eternal death. Yes, it may be absurd, illogical and foolish to believe in the death of Jesus and live forever. The bible says in 1 Cor 1 : 18(AMP): for the message of the CROSS is FOOLISHNESS to those who are perishing…but to those(us) who are being saved(by God’s GRACE) it is the power of God. The cross is the bridge between our OLD MAN and NEW MAN of the SPIRIT.
The cross is the place of exchange, sacrifice and atonement. It is the POWER OF GOD. It is the place of pain, suffering, shame, reproach, curse, and death, but more than this it is the bridge to our(Christian) victory, eternity, prosperity, blessing, joy, peace, and essence of our life in Christ. The bible says he made a public show of them ALL. What is this all? All your burden, agony, shame, sadness, reproach, bitterness, anger, the flesh, death, and SIN. He made a public show of them. One spiritual hymnal said; Death where is thy sting?
I invite you to live this life with us, a life of great joy. The scripture says; how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? Jesus loves you so much that he gave himself in your place. He wants to show you his unconditional love. The cross is never just a symbol; it is the true POWER OF GOD.
